Chapter 6 - The first video

Police obtained the cloud videos independently.
Metadata.
Upload times.
Device identifiers.
No reliance on my copies.
Good.
The earliest video was thirty-four days before the source day.
Lily stood outside the kennel.
No chain.
Diane said:
“You sit inside for five minutes because you threw your cup.”
Lily cried.
“No.”
Diane opened the kennel door.
Lily backed away.
The video ended.
No evidence she entered that day.
Second clip, four days later.
Lily inside.
Door closed.
Not locked visibly.
Diane filming.
“You stop screaming, I open it.”
Lily cried.
“Daddy.”
Diane:
“Daddy is not here.”
That sentence became the phrase I heard in dreams.
Third clip:
Kennel again.
This time padlock visible.
Seven minutes based on metadata between separate clips? We cannot know duration from one clip, but another timestamp showed her outside later. Investigators could bound.
Fourth:
Diane striking bars with the garden stake.
Not Lily.
The point was fear.
Fifth:
A short chain attached to the kennel, looped around Lily’s backpack strap while she stood outside.
Not neck.
Escalation.
Sixth:
Diane filming Lily crying beside the kennel after lunch.
Seventh:
Lily inside again.
Eighth:
The clip I first saw.
Ninth:
Source day partial footage? Diane had started recording before I arrived but phone switched to camera? The visible video was from days earlier, source day maybe no recording.
The pattern was not daily.
Not every visit.
Nine documented incidents across roughly five weeks.
How many undocumented?
Unknown.
Important.
We would never say:
May you like
every day.
Evidence did not support.
