Chapter 22 - Price Haven goes up for sale

Belladonna did not lose Price Haven.

She chose to sell it.

Why?

Legal fees.

Sanctions.

Association with case.

And perhaps because the property had become impossible for her to look at.

List price:

$4.4 million.

It eventually sold for:

$4.05 million.

After mortgage/closing:

She retained substantial equity.

No bankruptcy.

No poverty arc.

Then custodial/guardianship documents.

Void because unsigned.

No court proceeding necessary to “cancel” a guardianship that never existed.

My estate plan remained.

Catherine Monroe as backup guardian.

Professional trustee.

Then security.

Independent firm supplemented Caleb’s residential detail.

Caleb stayed but under new oversight.

He completed child-safeguarding training.

No private internal “drills” involving Eira without my written consent and child-specialist review.

Then I reduced travel.

Not to zero.

Costello Group still required me.

But eleven-day absences became rare.

Maximum planned stretch:

Four nights.

Longer only if Catherine or another approved caregiver stayed under written plan.

Not Belladonna.

Not a single person with unchecked authority.

Eira needed multiple safe adults.

Not a king.

May you like

Not a substitute queen.

A system.
